But when Anne realizes that the table is set for thirteen with Steven, Bob?s son from his first marriage, she panics: for this mundane event, bad luck is out of the question. She asks Maria (Rossy de Palma), her housekeeper, to put on a dress and to act like a rich Spanish friend. Maria finds herself sitting next to David, an art expert from the British nobility. When David, under Maria?s charm, contacts her the following day, revealing her true identity is simply an impossible task. A romance begins, which will shake Anne?s elitist values and her marriage. Unless she manages to strangle Maria?
